Spardha School of Music Launches AI-Powered Platform to Transform Music Education

Spardha School of Music has launched a next-generation training platform combining AI-powered feedback, digital practice tools and performance opportunities. With nearly 20,000 active students across 16 countries, the company targets INR 100 crore+ ARR by FY 2027-28.

Spardha School of Music, a global Performing Arts EdTech platform specialising in personalised, one-on-one live learning, is expanding its technology ecosystem with the launch of a next-generation training platform designed to make music and performing arts education more continuous, practice-led and accessible. The platform aims to enhance students’ learning experiences and provide ongoing support beyond scheduled live classes.

Spardha currently supports more than 1,000 teachers and nearly 20,000 active students across 16 countries, delivering over 60,000 live one-on-one sessions every month. Its latest technology expansion combines teacher-led instruction with digital practice tools, feedback mechanisms and progress tracking to create a more continuous and personalised learning experience.

The new training platform builds on Spardha’s core one-on-one learning model, keeping teachers at the centre of the educational journey. Its enhanced classroom experience includes backing tracks, music tools and a student–teacher sync mode, designed to make online music and dance lessons more seamless, engaging and effective.

Beyond scheduled classes, students can access assignments, practice videos and music sheets to support regular learning. Digital tools such as a metronome, tabla, virtual keyboard, mridangam and tanpura facilitate guided and independent practice. AI-powered session notes and monthly progress reports help students monitor their development and identify areas requiring attention, while real-time AI-powered feedback during practice provides additional guidance.

The platform also monitors the quality and consistency of teachers’ session delivery to maintain a high standard of session hygiene. It supports continuous teacher upskilling through personalised learning journeys tailored to each teacher’s existing skills, performance and quality of service, enabling ongoing professional development.

“Technology is not replacing the music teacher. It amplifies the ability of teachers to personalize, engage and create better learning outcomes. The future of music education lies in combining the human connection and expertise of a good teacher with the data-driven intelligence of technology to deliver a deeply personalized learning journey for every student,” said Saurabh Srivastav, Founder of Spardha Learning.

The platform also integrates Spardha’s proprietary AI-based performance platform, Jam Station, which enables students to discover, practise and perform thousands of new songs. Its features include AI-powered self-assessment, allowing students to practise independently, evaluate their skills in real time and build confidence in their musical abilities.

Learning opportunities extend beyond individual practice through Spardha’s phygital performance platform. It provides students with regular opportunities to perform before a global audience comprising fellow students, teachers, parents and music enthusiasts. These experiences allow learners to apply their skills, gain practical performance experience and develop confidence.

The technology expansion is supported by the company’s growing business scale. Spardha currently generates close to INR 60 crore in annual recurring revenue (ARR) and is targeting ARR of more than INR 100 crore by FY 2027-28. To support this target, the company plans to expand its operational capacity from the current 55,000-plus monthly live sessions to 1,00,000 sessions per month by FY 2027-28.

Over the longer term, Spardha aims to acquire 1 lakh active users globally and scale its operations to deliver 3 lakh live sessions per month by 2030.

Alongside its technology investments, the company is addressing gaps in performing arts education through professionally trained teachers, structured learning programmes and multiple unique performance formats. Its ecosystem combines live instruction, guided practice, technology-enabled feedback, progress tracking and personalised learning, extending music education beyond a weekly class into a continuous journey of learning and performance.
